TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF USE
1. By registering to participate in the Australian Business Foundation Open Forum, you agree to the following terms and conditions of use.
2. The terms of use may change from time to time and such changes are at the sole discretion of the Australian Business Foundation.
3. The Australian Business Foundation Open Forum is a medium for exchanging diverse ideas and opinions with a view to stimulating vibrant debate on issues affecting both the competitiveness of Australian-based businesses and Australia’s long-term productivity and prosperity. All participants are entitled to express their views in the Forum, provided such views do not constitute a breach of the terms and conditions.
4. The views expressed on this Forum are those of the individual participants and are not endorsed by the Australian Business Foundation or its sponsors or members.
5. Without limiting the activities which may be prohibited, the following activities will constitute a breach of the terms and conditions:
a. Knowingly making false and misleading statements.
b. Making a statement that constitutes misleading or deceptive conduct.
c. Making a statement that is defamatory in any jurisdiction.
d. Breaching copyright or other intellectual property rights.
e. Breaching any law in any of the applicable jurisdictions.
f. Failing to attribute ideas and information to their proper source.
g. Acting in a way which may be threatening, abusive, obscene, harassing or otherwise unacceptable.
h. Using language that is obscene, distasteful, discriminatory or disrespectful.
i. Any others that may be appropriate.
7. In the event that a participant is perceived to engage in any of the prohibited activities, the Australian Business Foundation may, with absolute discretion, decide to suspend or terminate the participant’s access or use.
8. Although the Australian Business Foundation will endeavour to act quickly with respect to dealing with prohibited conduct, it will not be held liable for any action or inaction with respect to such conduct or communications.
